Purpose:

As you are aware, we have established pricing minimums for merchants to help ensure that we earn enough money to support our investment in the free terminal and upfront bonus programs. However, we understand that there are situations where you need to setup merchants with rates and fees below these minimum fees.

To make it easy for you to get merchants approved with pricing below our minimum fees, we have developed a new option for you – our “Greenlight Pricing Program”. This is the same Revenue Sharing program that you currently have - with one exception. With this program, the first $25.00 earned on the account will be paid to us. This ensures that, for these merchants, we will recoup our investment in their free terminals and/or your upfront bonuses.

Our “Greenlight Pricing Program” is an optional program. We are not changing your Residual Sharing program – rather, we are offering a new way to include merchants in our free terminal and upfront bonus programs who do not otherwise qualify for inclusion. We are using this program to help process your accounts for approval and setup without any delay. In addition, this program will enable you to continue using our Free Terminal Programs*, and will enable you to qualify for an 8x upfront bonus payment.

*Merchant accounts will require a $25 monthly minimum and $5/mo Service fee in order to receive Free Terminal Placements

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q:

A:
How do I enroll a merchant into Greenlight?

This is an optional program. A merchant priced below our published minimums will be automatically enrolled - no additional effort / request is required.
Q:

A:
What happens if the account earns less than $25 based on 100% on our Revenue Sharing Program? Will you take money from me?

No. If the account earns less than $25, you will receive a zero commission for that account. We will work with you to change the pricing for the merchant. We will provide the required 30 days notice to the merchant of any price changes.
Q:

A:
Can I lower or reduce the fees for Internet Gateway Fees, Monthly Wireless Service Fees, or Credit/Debit Per Item Fees, etc?

Yes. You can provide the merchant with any set of rates and fees that you choose. However, if you set any rates and fees below our published minimum fees, we will automatically enroll the merchant into our Greenlight Pricing Program.

If you want to avoid placement on the Greenlight Revenue Sharing Program, then you need to select our 70% revenue sharing program (which has no upfront bonus or free terminal program).

The announcement states that you have updated the 2009 Upfront Bonus Program with the launch of the Greenlight Pricing Program, what changes did you make?

When we launched the 2009 Upfront Bonus Program in January 2009, we explained that we would not be paying the initial $200 upfront bonus payment if an account was setup with rates and fees below our published minimum fees.

With our Greenlight Pricing Program, you now can setup merchants with rates and fees above or below the minimum fees, and still receive the initial $200 upfront bonus payment. Now, accounts setup below the minimum fees will simply get placed on our Greenlight Pricing Program.

A:
So my office will make more Upfront Money now with the launch of the Greenlight Pricing Program?

No. You will be paid the initial $200 upfront bonus when the account is approved on more accounts. However, it will still be subject to the 8x true-up during the account’s third month of processing. This is the same as it’s always been.

In order to qualify for our Free Terminal Placement Program, merchants need to be setup with a $25 Monthly Minimum Discount fee and a $5/mo Service Fee. The Nurit 8000 Wireless Terminal Placement program has a $10/month Service Fee cost. Am I still required to have the Service Fee at $10/month for wireless merchants?

The $10/mo Service Fee is still your cost when utilizing our Nurit 8000 Wireless Terminal Placement Program. You can still receive a wireless terminal placement as long as you are billing a $25 monthly minimum discount fee and a $5/mo service fee. However, the account will then be enrolled in our Greenlight Revenue Sharing Program, and there will be $5/month deficit with the service fee.
Q:

A:
Can I setup merchants with rates and fees lower than our published minimum fees with our check service, “Checks-on-Demand”, or our new “Giftcard-on-Demand” program coming soon?

No. These value-added programs need to be sold at the published minimum rates & fees.
Q:

A:
Can I take advantage of the “Free to Sell or Lease” program, and sell rates and fee below the minimums with the Greenlight Pricing Program?

No. This program is designed only for our Free Terminal Placement Programs, and for our Rental* terminal programs. If you would like to utilize the Free to Sell or Lease program, you will need to establish rates and fees that are at or above all our published minimums.

*Also, please note that Rental Fees cannot not be altered or adjusted.
Q:

A:
Can I use the 70% Revenue Share program with Greenlight Pricing?

No. Our 70% Revenue Share program has no upfront bonus or free terminal program associated with it. As such, with the 70% program, you can sell any rates and fees (above or below the minimum published fees). This is a way to avoid having your accounts placed on the Greenlight Pricing Program.

Can I re-price a merchant either before or after the third month of processing activity, if I’m concerned about the account profitability?

We encourage you to review the profitability of all your accounts. You can re-price merchants by either getting a newly signed schedule of fees, or by providing the merchant with thirty days written notice of changes to their pricing. This can be done at any time. We will provide you with reporting after the third month of any Greenlight Pricing Program merchants where the profitability is less than $50/month (based on 100% of the net revenue on our Revenue Sharing Program). At $50 or less, you will make the decision on whether new pricing is needed since it affects your income. At $25 or less, the merchant will need new pricing since it affects both parties. We will work with you to determine the best plan for re-pricing the merchant.
